H&M announces designer collaboration with Mugler

Collection to debut in Spring 2023

Swedish fashion retailer H&M has delivered exciting news today, announcing a collaboration with French fashion house Mugler for their upcoming designer collection in Spring 2023.

“H&M is proud to share that its next designer collaboration will be with the house of Mugler,” noted H&M. “The Mugler H&M collection, crafted under the direction of Mugler’s creative director Casey Cadwallader, will encapsulate the unique and vibrant spirit of Mugler.”

For almost twenty years, H&M has offered fashion enthusiasts the chance to own special pieces from high-end designers through collaborations. Last year, the brand partnered with Iris Apfel for a brightly maximalist collection, and in 2021, they teamed up with Simon Rocha for a romantic-inspired offering.

Designer Casey Cadwallader joined the house of Mugler in 2017 and has dressed celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Beyoncé, among others. Prior to his time with the famed French label, he worked with designer Marc Jacobs and spent time at major fashion houses such as Loewe, Acne Studios, and Narciso Rodriguez.

With Casey at the helm of Mugler, the American creative has brought fierce pieces to the forefront of the brand's presentations, featuring tight-fitting bodysuits, dark color schemes, cut-outs, and sexy ensembles. With Mugler's partnership with H&M, will we see hyper-feminine pieces and ultra-sleek designs? Whatever the collection may bring, we're betting on the duo to not disappoint.

Specific details about the collection are still undisclosed, but the capsule is expected to be available online and in selected stores in Spring 2023.
