Fish vendor yields P340,000 worth of shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY - Policemen arrested a fish vendor who yielded 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Singcang-Airport here on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The subject was identified as Hector Deximo, 32, of Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

Capt. Glenn Montaño, head of Police Station 8, said that Deximo allegedly serves as a courier, but refused to reveal the person that asks him to deliver the illegal drugs.

Montaño said the suspect was previously arrested for a drug offense and was released from jail in 2021 after serving his sentence.

Montaño said that Deximo was subjected to surveillance for two weeks after they received a report regarding his alleged engagement in the illegal drug trade.
