Awra Briguela cries foul over 'homophobic' insults

Former child star Awra Briguela called out some netizens recently.

This, after they "mocked" his bikini photos.

On Twitter, he shared a screenshot of a news article about his pictures in a two-piece bikini being compared to Nadine Lustre's.

"kaya hindi na ako nagamit ng facebook e, apaka daming perfect na akala mo ang popogi at ang gaganda nila. jusko," his caption read.

Then in the thread, Awra uploaded numerous screenshots of some online users' reactions.

Among the comments:

"The design is very maitim ang kili kili."

"Wow naman Nadine talaga he he wag naman malayo e."

"The design is very daks."

In another tweet, Awra reiterated: "Just FACTS: Unattractive men are the homophobic ones.. i asked why?! maybe because they will never accept truth.. TRUTH that i look good - hmm GREAT and BETTER than they will ever be."

Meanwhile, many expressed support for Awra.

"You're gorgeous in any way as possible..just keep your head up high girlie."

"It's always those ugly ones who had the audacity to insult you."

"I support Awra for doing this. If they can say whatever they want then might as well use your platform to shame them too, matagal kasi ang karma at hindi n uso ang you're a public personality dapat masanay ka sa mga sasabihin ng tao.. How about normalizing clap back di ba.."
