Ticket bought in Pampanga yields new Mega Lotto millionaire

A ticket bought in Angeles City, Pampanga yielded a new Mega Lotto 6/45 millionaire during the evening draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Monday, Feb. 20.

The sole winner guessed the winning combination, 17 – 23 – 31 – 10 – 21 – 14, for a jackpot prize worth P37.2 million.

Meanwhile, 54 players hit the second prize worth P32,000, and 2,481 won the third prize worth P1,000.

Its jackpot was previously won by two bettors from National Capital Region and Western Visayas who shared the P73.4 million prize.

Mega Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 p.m.

Last Feb. 19, a bettor from Lavezares, Northern Samar won the P63-million jackpot prize for Super Lotto 6/49.

PCSO reminded that prizes exceeding P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

It added that prizes not claimed within one year after the draw should be considered forfeited.
