Maynilad to implement water service interruption in 4 cities in southern Metro Manila

The Maynilad Water Service Inc. announced the implementation of water service interruption from Feb 21 to 24, due to prolonged high water turbidity brought by the amihan winds.

According to the advisory of Maynilad, four cities in the southern Metro Manila will experience water service interruption.

In Parañaque City, Barangays BF Homes and San Antonio water interruption will be implemented from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.

Water interruption will be implemented from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily in Barangays Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, San Martin de Porres, and parts of BF Homes and San Antonio.

Barangays Merville, Moonwalk, and parts of Don Bosco will have no water supply from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily, including Barangay 201in Pasay City.

The Maynilad announced that other areas in Barangays Don Bosco, Marcelo Green and San Antonio including San Isidro will experience water service interruption from 2:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. daily including Barangays 181 to 185 in Pasay.

Barangay Sun Valley in Parañaque City will experience water service interruption from 5 p.m. to 11:59 daily.

The Maynilad said water service interruption will also be implemented in some villages in Las Piñas and Muntinlupa City.

Barangay Almanza Dos in Las Piñas, Poblacion and Tunasan in Muntinlupa City residents will experience water service interruption from 4 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily on Feb. 21 until Feb. 25.

In Barangays Alabang, Buli, Cupang and Sucat, Muntinlupa, water service interruption will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Other areas in Barangays Alabang, Poblacion, Tunasan, including Putatan, Muntinlupa will experience water service interruption from 11 a.m. to 5 a.m. daily on Feb. 21 until Feb. 25.

Water service interruption will be implemented in some parts of Barangays Pobalcion, Putatan, and Tunasan from 12:01 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily.

Eleven villages in Las Piñas will have no water supply from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily on Feb. 21 -25.

The affected villages Barangays CAA, Manuyo Dos, Pamplona Dos, Pamplona Tres, Pamplona Uno, Pulanglupa Dos, Pulanglupa Uno, Talon Dos, Talon Tres, Talon Uno and Zapote.

Barangays Almanza Uno, Pilar, Talon Dos and Talon Singko will have no water supply from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily.

The Maynilad encourage affected customers to store enough water for their consumption before the scheduled water service interruption.

Mobile tankers of Maynila will conduct rounds to affected areas to deliver potable water and stationary water tanks were also installed in several areas.
