Darryl Yap unfazed over celebs who vowed never to work with him

Director Darryl Yap remained unfazed about celebrities who vowed never to work with him in future projects because of his political affiliation.

On social media, Darryl admitted that he doesn't really know how to react to these statements because the offer usually comes first before rejection. His full post:

"Just like what i said, di ko na alam ang irereact ko sa mga nagdedeclare na ayaw nila ako makatrabaho -kahit sino pa po yan, lalo na kung galing sa pelikulang hindi namin kasabay sa opening.

"Yung bida sa pelikula dun at ilang mga common nouns na hindi ko rin alam na nagtatrabaho pala in the first place;

"Kahit wala pa akong napapatunayan sa industry, never pa ako nakarinig na direktor ang nag-aaudition sa artista—kaya hindi ako ang maghahanap ng katrabaho kung sakali.

"I don’t want to be cruel and I don’t want to start this beautiful day with negativity, so I’ll leave a quote for everybody.

“Nauuna ang alok bago ang tanggi," Darryl added.

Darryl is the director of the upcoming movie "Martyr or Murderer" (MoM), the second installment to the blockbuster film "Maid In Malacanang." It will open in Philippine cinemas on March 1.

The director also criticized the bashers of his upcoming film.

"Itong mga anti-Marcos naman sa comment section, akala mo aping-api rin. Huwag kayo manonood nito baka mapatiran kayo ng ugat. panoorin nyo yung mga gawa ng mga kagaya nyong God's gift to Philippine cinema," Darryl also said.
