Caloocan, Valenzuela LGUs to hold Mega Job Fairs

The Caloocan and Valenzuela city governments will hold Mega Job Fairs for city residents on Thursday, Feb. 23, and Friday, Feb. 24.

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan said the Mega Job Fair in the city on Thursday, Feb. 23, will be held at the Caloocan Sports Complex from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be led by the City Public Employment Services Office (PESO), in partnership with various companies including Ace Hardware, Bank of Makati, and Alorica which are hiring customer service representative, store supervisors, sales assistants/staff, and clerks among others.

Applicants should bring a valid identification card, vaccination card, and copies of their resume.

The event is part of Caloocan City's 61st founding anniversary which was celebrated last Feb. 16.

The same activity will be held on Feb. 28 at the Bulwagang Katipunan, Caloocan City Hall.

The Valenzuela City government also announced that it will be conducting a Mega Job Fair for local and overseas placements for residents on Friday, Feb. 24.

The job fair, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), will be held at Valenzuela City People's Park Amphitheater from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

One-stop-shops where residents can apply for various documents from different government agencies such as PhilHealth, Philippine Statistics Authority, Social Security System, and Pag-IBIG Fund, and Bureau of Internal Revenue, will also open.
