The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup is set to kick off from June 10 to 18, with an addition of three new regions - North America, the Middle East and North Africa, and Turkey.

The inclusion of these regions is aimed at enhancing the level of competition and providing more opportunities for budding esports teams to participate in international events.
“The transition for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup into a global mid-season tournament has been planned in the pipeline for some time, and this year is a good start to kick starting the transition,” stated Sophie Guo, Regional Esports Lead, MOONTON Games.
“In line with our mission – Esports for Everyone; we wanted to provide these budding regions more opportunities to compete on an international level and will gradually look to upscaling the tournament model in the future.”
More details about the mid-season cup format will be announced closer to the date. Several Mobile Legends: Bang Bang professional teams, including MPL KH champions Impunity KH, Burn x Flash, and See You Soon, hail from the host nation Cambodia.
MPL Philippines, Indonesia will send their champions and runners-up while the top teams from the MPL in Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar and Mekong qualifiers will also compete.
North America, the Middle East and North Africa, and Turkey will have a single slot each, which will be determined by the North America Challenger Tournament, MPL Middle East & North Africa, and MLBB Turkey Championship, respectively.
The Group Stage will take place from June 10 to 13, with the Knockout Stage scheduled for June 15 to 17. The Grand Finals and third-place match will be held on June 18, and all matches will be conducted offline.
