LAGUNA – Authorities here arrested ten suspects during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Calamba City on Feb. 18.
The Calamba City Police Station (CPS) identified the suspects as alias Benedict, alias Avelino, alias Eddie, alias Jerwin, alias Joel, alias Dondon, alias Rocky, alias Zaldimar, alias Junrry, and alias Marlon.
The suspects were caught in the act playing illegal poker in Barangay Lecheria.
Confiscated from the suspects were a set of playing cards and suspected bet money amounting to P8,200.
The suspects are now under the custody of Calamba CPS and are facing illegal gambling charges.
