'BTS: Yet To Come in Cinemas' debuts at No. 2 in South Korea

“BTS: Yet To Come in Cinemas,” the cinematic version of BTS’ Busan concert, debuted at No. 2 at the box office in South Korea.

The movie, released worldwide including the Philippines on Feb. 1 and which was re-edited and remixed for the big screen, is about BTS’ concert in Busan, South Korea last October. It features BTS’ hit songs such as “Butter,” “Dynamite” and “IDOL.”

According to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), “BTS: Yet To Come in Cinemas” debuted at No. 2 at the box office with with 20,580 admissions and $371,111 in revenue on Feb. 1.

Including the pre-opening screening, it has sold 20,750 tickets and earned $374,176.

Ranking first is “The First Slam Dunk” from Japan, which sold 41,672 tickets and grossed $338,191 in South Korea on Feb. 1.
