Actress and social media influencer Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio has revealed that she enjoys jump rope to keep fit and active.

At the opening of HOKA Concept Store at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Rica said: "I can run a little bit, I wanna get in it more this year. It’s more jumping, jump rope.  I do jump rope. I do mobility exercises also and I lift weights."

Rica, 41, also believes that being healthy and fit makes her look younger.

"You feel lighter, enabled. When you are very sluggish, you feel old, you look old. So, when you move a lot and when you feel very able then it adds youth to your life," the writer said.

At present, Rica is not active in show business. She just released a book entitled "Eleven Eleven: Painting the Challenge and Beauty of Marriage," co-written by her husband Joseph Bonifacio.

Asked what would make her resume her career in showbiz, Rica answered: "I dunno. It’s really just not the project pero parang it has to be, of course a really good script with an amazing director behind it, creative team, and also people that I’ll be working with."
