CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- Eight drug personalities who are all listed as high value individuals yielded P166,000 worth of shabu as the police and the Philippine Drug Enforce Enforcement Agency busted them in separate operations on Saturday, Feb. 18, a report from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera said.
Cordillera regional director Brig. General Mafelino Bazar said the combined elements of the police and the PDEA raided a drug den during which six people were arrested at around 12:30 in the afternoon at Purok 1, Km. 3, Asin Road, Baguio City.
The arrested were identified as Alma De Villes, Cecilia Bulatao, Rayner Aljon Torio, Eddieson Basiuang, Calvin Navarette and Kayle Ballesteros.
Six plastic sachets containing 10 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P68,000 and several drug paraphernalia were recovered inside the drug den.
A farmer identified as Wagner Walter Albo, 46, a resident of Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet, was also arrested in another buy-bust operation on same day in Barangay Betag, La Trinidad, Benguet.
The police found 4.5 grams of shabu worth P30,600 from Albo.
On Friday, Feb. 17, police arrested Mharjhade Kyle Codamon Tameyao alias ‘Mattet,’ 32, a resident of Pogoncino, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya, who went to Lagawe, Ifugao, to sell 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000.
