Bren Esports bucked the absence of head coach Francis “Duckeyy” Glindro to finally barge into the win column of the MPL Philippines Season 11 at the expense of the struggling Smart Omega Esports at the Shooting Gallery Studio on Sunday, Feb. 19.

Without the brain behind the M2 World Champions, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo and Michael “Kyletzy Sayson" stepped up and took turns in leading the team a dominant bounce back win after dropping its first game to rival ECHO.
Owgwen set the tone for the Game 1 rout, securing a three-man takedown on Smart Omega following the perfect setups on his Khufra pick. Bren maintained its lead and kept its opponent at bay, completing a 15-2 annihilation of the former MSC king.
Owgwen finished with a 0-1-10 line on the Khufra while also enabling his damage dealers to quickly reach their power spikes with Marco “Super Marco” Requitano unloading a neat 8-0-4 KDA on the Beatrix pick.
Riding the momentum of the Game 1 win, Bren continued to dominate in the second game as Michael “Kyletzy” Sayson dashed and glided his way to a 4-1-6 line on the Fanny. He spearheaded the early game onslaught of the Sibol representatives as Super Marco and Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel put on the finishing touches in the dominant 12-4 Game 2 win.
Pheww added a 3-0-6 KDA on the Faramis while Super Marco ended up with a 4-1-3 line on gold lane Harith pick
