New faces take spotlight as Blacklist barges into the win column with sweep of TNC

It seemed like the new faces in the Blacklist International’s roster had finally shook off the jitters.

Rookies John Redick “Super Red” Bordeos and Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, along with debuting Renejay “RENEJAY” Barcase made sure to not shy away from the spotlight and took turns in leading Blacklist to a 2-0 sweep of the TNC Pro Team on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Shooting Gallery Center.

It was Super Red who started the masterful sweep for Blacklist with a near-perfect showing on his Brody in Game 1 before Yue put on the finishing touches in the second game with his Valentina to help the M3 World Champions erase the bitter taste of their opening day loss against ECHO.

Admittedly feeling the nerves in his first game as pro-player, Super Red bounced back big as he showed the way for the Codebreakers in the dominant 19-11 Game 1 win. 

Quickly getting his hands on his core items, Super Red’s Brody was simply untouchable, exploding with a 13-1-2 line.

Renejay, the team’s biggest signing in the off-season made immediate impact with his backline dives on Lapu-Lapu pick to contain TNC’s damage dealers during teamfights. He finished with a 3-1-9 KDA while Yue provided support with a 1-3-16 KDA.

Just like in its first game, TNC tried to turn things around in Game 2 with its platoon substitution, completely fielding a new quintet. That, however, hardly bothered Blacklist’s young guns as Yue wreaked havoc on the Valentina pick. 

Stealing the ultimates of TNC heroes like Joy and Pharsa, with I Am You skill of his hero, the new Blacklist midlaner unloaded a 10-3-8 KDA while Super Red contributed a 5-1-5 line.

Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna provided the sustain with a 1-1-16 tally on the Faramis while Wise, who fielded a jungle Guinevere pick, added a 2-2-6 line.
