P300,000 shabu, marijuana seized in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized shabu and marijuana worth P300,000 in buy-bust operations in Angeles City and Mabalacat City in Pampanga on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Suspects were identified as Jhaez Vincent Carlos and Paulo Feliciano Gavieres.

Angeles City police nabbed Carlos, considered a high-value individual, in Barangay Balibago.

Carlos yielded one and one-half bricks of dried marijuana leaves and nine small to large transparent plastic sachets containing dried marijuana and Kush weighing approximately 1.5 kilos and valued at P180,000.

Mabalacat police apprehended the 38-year-old Gavieres, alias “Popoy,” in Barangay Dau. In his possession were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 25 grams with an estimated value of P170,000.

Suspects face drug-related charges.
