UPCAT 2024 application opens in March

The application for the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) 2024 will officially open in the first week of March, the UP Office of Admissions announced on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

UPCAT 2024 will be held from June 3 to 4 in over 100 test centers nationwide.

This will be the first traditional pen-and-paper admission test since 2020.

All applications will be done online and interested examinees need to encode their grades for Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the UPCAT online portal.

"Though applicants may still be in Grade 11 when they apply, exam takers will encode their grades online only in September 2023 when Grade 11 grades are final and complete," UP said.

In September, UP will also request hard copies of the official grades of applicants from their schools to be used for verification purposes.

Successful UPCAT 2024 passers will be admitted in the first semester of the Academic Year 2024-2025.
