Mark Leviste flies to US to greet Kris Aquino on her birthday

Vice Governor of Batangas Mark Leviste flew to Orange County in California to personally greet Queen of All Media Kris Aquino on her 52nd birthday on Feb. 14.

At the same time, Mark joined Kris in celebrating Valentine's Day in the US.

Mark broke the news on Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 15. He also shared a photo with the Queen of All Media. His full post:

"Made it just in time for your birthday and Valentine’s Day. ? It may have taken more than 7k miles to be with you, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Although we have been apart, now that we’re together fills my heart. ? It is for this reason my love and my dear you will always and forever feel near.

"Happy Birthday to you and Happy Valentine’s Day to us @krisaquino! ?," Mark wrote.

Kris said she appreciates the efforts of Mark who went to the US to celebrate her special day. But she reiterated that Mark is her best male friend.

"May we clarify - together physically in the same place… i appreciate all your effort (through the years) BUT please clarify that we agreed the best foundation for any & all relationships is FRIENDSHIP. i know i state with 100 percent accuracy, you’re my best male friend," Kris also said.

Kris and her children have been in the US since June 2022 to receive treatment for Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA). She was diagnosed with the rare and life-threatening disease in April 2022.

In time for her 52nd birthday, Kris also announced that she and her children have found a beach home in the US.
