BALER, Aurora – Senator Imee Marcos led the distribution of financial assistance to about 1000 farmers in this province, and at the same time made a pledge of more than P10 million for the local farmers.
The P10 million pledge is on top of the P50 million cash assistance that will come from the Department of Agriculture.
The senator led the presentation of various farm inputs and cash assistance of P5000 each to 1000 farmers in Aurora.

The pay-out was held at the provincial capitol ground in Suklayin where Senator Marcos also served as keynote speaker in the ‘Araw ng Magsasaka’ program attended by various farmers groups in the province.
The program was part of a weeklong celebration of the 44th foundation of the province which also coincided with the 135th birth anniversary of former First Lady Doña Aurora Aragon Quezon, wife of the late President Manuel Luis Quezon.
Marcos was joined by Aurora Governor Christian Noveras as she distributed farm inputs to help the local farmers boost their agricultural productivity
