'We appreciate you being with us': House leader tells 99-year-old Enrile

House Minority Leader and 4Ps Party-list Rep. Marcelino Libanan joined the many well-wishers of Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile on the latter's 99th birthday on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

"Happy Birthday po, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, our Manong Johnny!Â° Libanan wrote in a Facebook greeting for the former Senate President.

"You have been a public servant for a long time and we appreciate you being with us until today," he said.

Libanan, a veteran lawmaker in his own right, went on to share his birthday wish for the "immortal" Enrile.

"As you turn 99 years old, may God continue to give you everything your heart desires. I wish you strength and good health, and a life full of happiness. Nothing but the best for you!" the ranking House member said.
