Padilla, wife Mariel to have Valentine's Day dinner date at JPE's 99th birthday party

Senator Robinhood "Robin" C. Padilla and wife Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla will have a Valentine’s Day dinner date at the birthday of former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile.

Padilla said Enrile, who is celebrating his 99th birthday, is still blessed with a sharp mind and "encyclopedia-like" knowledge. Enrile is the legal adviser of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

”Kami ng aking mahal na asawa ay magda-date po. Pupunta kami sa birthday ni Sir Attorney Secretary Idol Juan Ponce Enrile ... Tagahanga kami ni Mariel talaga. Talagang bihira na po kami lumabas ng mag-asawa nang sabay pero dito nag-usap kaming dalawa itong espesyal na araw na ito ialay namin kay JPE (My wife and I will go on a date, to the birthday celebration of former Senator Juan Ponce Enrile. We are his admirers, and it's not often that we go out on a Valentine's date)," Padilla said during a DZRH radio interview.

Padilla also greeted former actress and presidential sister Kris Aquino on her 52nd birthday.

He said he continues to pray for the recovery of Kris, who is now in the United States.

”Maam Kris Aquino, alam nyo napapakinggan ninyo kami sa US, happy birthday. Lagi naming pinapanalangin ang inyong kalusugan (Ma’am Kris Aquino, I know you can hear me even if you're in the US. Happy birthday! I always pray for your health)," he stressed.
