Mother of ex-CJ Peralta passes away

Catalina G. Madarang vda. de Peralta passed away on Friday, Feb. 10, at the age of 96 in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

Mrs. Peralta is survived by her son, former Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta, a Manila Hotel independent director, and his wife Court of Appeals Justice Fernanda Peralta, daughter Vissia Marie P. Aldon and husband Atty. Cornelio P. Adon, youngest son Dr. Vicente M. Peralta, nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her remains lie at the family residence in Laoag City.

Interment will be at the Floral Gardens Memorial Park in Laoag City on Saturday, Feb. 18, following a funeral mass at the Saint William’s Cathedral also in Laoag.
