Cong Joey moonlights as 'love doctor' on Valentine's Day

Aside from being good with numbers, Albay 2nd district Rep. Joey Salceda also appears to be a good "love doctor".

And on Tuesday, Feb. 14,, on Valentine's Day, Salceda turned his Facebook wall into his personal love clinic.

"Good morning Albay. Love is in the air!" the economist-solon wrote in a post Tuesday morning, obviously referring to the occasion of "Hearts' Day".

"Be happy. Be loved. Go forth and love. Lilipas din ang araw na ito (This day will also pass)," Salceda told his provincemates.

But it's the veteran congressman's advice to the brokenhearted later that day that could have a profound effect on most Filipinos.

"Ok lang masaktan basta nagmahal (It's OK to get hurt, as long you were able to love)," Salceda wrote.

Salceda, a former three-term Albay governor, is the chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means.
