64 couples tie knot on Valentine's Day in Parañaque City

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez officiated in the civil wedding ceremony of 64 couples in the city on Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

The 64 couples said their “I Do’s” during the 62nd Kasalang Bayan sponsored by the Parañaque City government held at SM City Bicutan.

Olivarez thanked Vice- President and Department of Education Secretary Sarah Duterte who witnessed the civil wedding of the 64 couples.

He said the Vice President also distributed gifts to the newlyweds after giving them the message to respect and love one another.

The mayor urged the couples to be faithful to each other and live happily and to work on saving their relationships whenever they encounter misunderstandings. He also asked them to be responsible parents to their children.
