Chito Miranda grateful for wife's birthday gift

Parokya Ni Edgar's lead vocalist Chito Miranda recently expressed appreciation to his wife, Neri Naig.

On his social media account, Chito happily shared how he received a new pickup from Neri as a birthday gift.

"Niregaluhan ako ni Neri ng bagong sasakyan.(I love you hand sign and loudly crying face emojis)," his caption read.

Chito related that it has been his dream to have such but put it off to focus on income-generating investments.

"Kumbaga, oks lang ako magtiis sa lumang sasakayan at gamitin yung pera ko on things that will make me more money, instead of buying myself a new car," was how he put it.

He then deemed his latest blessing as "delayed gratification."

"Since alam nya na hindi ako bibili ng sasakyan para sa sarili ko, kahit gaano ko pa kagusto magkapick-up, ang ginawa nya, sya nalang ang bumili for me. Ako ang tunay na #WaisNaMister," he quipped.

Last year, Neri also surprised Chito with a mini yacht for his birthday.
