19-year-old man stabbed to death by minor in Negros

BACOLOD CITY – A 19-year-old man was stabbed to death by a 17-year-old minor in Baragay Nabali-an, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Sunday, Feb. 12.

Police identified the victim as Mark Libo-on of Barangay Nabali-an.

The victim was in their store when he saw the suspect mauling his friend.

Libo-on tried to pacify the suspect, whose name was withheld, but he was stabbed.

The victim was declared dead on arrival in a hospital while the suspect was arrested by the police and will be referred to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
