ABS-CBN beefs up primetime content


ABS-CBN Corporation, now the country’s leading content provider, is bolstering its primetime TV lineup with that will air on multiple broadcast and online platforms starting February 13.

In a statement, the firm said its latest offerings will be top-billed by the the launch of its newest teleserye “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” which it hopes will replicate the success of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” the Philippines’ longest-running action-drama series that ran on-air for seven years.

The action-comedy series will air on broadcast platforms on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, and CineMo, as well as on various online platforms on Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page, iWantTFC, and on TFC for viewers outside of the Philippines.

ABS-CBN’s newest primetime offering, which is inspired by Fernando Poe Jr.’s 1986 film “Batang Quiapo,” stars an ensemble cast of award-winning actors led by Coco Martin who also starred in “Ang Probinsyano.”

The highly-anticipated premiere of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” solidifies ABS-CBN’s solid primetime viewing on both broadcast and online platforms with currently airing hit shows “The Iron Heart” and “Dirty Linen.”

The much-talked about revenge series “Dirty Linen” continues to send viewers on a frenzy as it amassed over 700 million total online views across different social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

ABS-CBN’s primetime shows air on weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Viewers who use any digital TV box at home such as the TVplus box only need to rescan their device to be able to watch these shows on TV5 and A2Z.

These shows are also available to viewers in and out of the Philippines on iWantTFC, while viewers outside of the Philippines can watch on The Filipino Channel (TFC) on cable and IPTV.
