The Parañaque City government will stage a free concert on Monday, Feb. 13, to entertain the city residents during the celebration of the 25th cityhood anniversary.
The free concert to be held at the Parañaque City Hall grounds at 7:30 p.m. will feature popular band True Faith that will be joined by High School Playlist (retrospect).
Mayor Eric Olivarez said the group popularized the songs Perfect, Kung OK Lang Sa Iyo, Kung Di Rin Lang Ikaw, Huwag Na Lang Kaya, Muntik Nang Maabot Ang Langit, Alaala, Dahil Ikaw, Sa Puso Ko, Sumasarap Ang Gising Perfect, among others.
Olivarez said the city’s tradition “Grand Sunduan” will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Cathedral in Barangay La Huerta.
The mayor said Parañaque was proclaimed a city on February 13, 1998.
Malacañang declared Feb. 13 a special non-working holiday in Parañaque to give way for the celebration of its 25th cityhood anniversary.
