BTS, NCT Dream, Stray Kids bag grand prizes at Hanteo Music Awards day 2

The 30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022 held its second day of ceremony at Jamsil Arena on Feb. 11.

Organizers handed out the “daesang” (grand prizes) on the second day.

BTS won two grand prizes: Best Artist and Best Song. According to the awards’ website, the Best Artist award is given to the artist who has had the greatest impact on the music industry in 2022 when various indicators such as album, digital music, social media, global, portal and fandom are combined. The award is given to the artist who shined the most in 2022.

The Best Song is bestowed on the song that received the most love in 2022.

BTS also won Global Artist Awards (all continents) and Whosfan Fandom Award. BTS’ Jin won the Global Artist Award (Africa).

NCT Dream, which attended the ceremony, took home the grand prize for Best Album, given to an album that received the most love in 2022.

Stray Kids bagged the grand prize of Best Performance, given to an artist who achieved the greatest growth and achievements in 2022.

The “bonsang” (main prize) went to Young Tak, Lim Young-woong, BTS, ENHYPEN, (G)I-DLE, Tomorrow X Together, NCT Dream and IVE.
