'Ang sarap!': Bento from vendo staves off Speaker's hunger
Thanks to Japan's awesome vending machines, House Speaker Martin Romualdez didn't have to sleep on an empty stomach.

In a press briefing with Manila-based reporters on Friday night, Feb. 10, Romualdez shared how he managed to get dinner despite the hotel kitchen being already closed.
"Actually, last night (Thursday), wala nang room service so...may vendo machine dito na may bento boxes na kasali (there was no longer any room service so...there was a vending machine here that had bento boxes in it)," said Romualdez, who is part of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s official delegation in his ongoing trip to Japan.

"Ang sarap!" the Leyte 1st district congressman said, referring his instant bento dinner.
"The Japanese really have a way of preparing food," added the mightily impressed Romualdez.
