Rachel Peters details baby's accident

Rachel Peters took to social media to share with followers what exactly happened to her one-year-old daughter.

Many netizens expressed concern after seeing recent photos of Kaia with a cast on her right arm.

On Instagram, the 2017 Miss Universe Philippines titleholder revealed her baby received a "pretty nasty burn on her hand pulling hot tea off a table."

"A freak accident and a big learning experience for us all," she said.

"Such a horrible start to a trip but we're so thankful for all the nurses and doctors in Japan who were so sweet to her everyday."

Rachel then shared a photo of her with Kaia in the hospital.

"Straight to the hospital after a full on day of traveling! She had to fast before her procedure and woke up from it all at 3am smiling. Couldn't be more proud of how brave she's been through this whole ordeal," her caption read.

She then assured fans, "She's okay."

Rachel then shared another post where Kaia could be seen happily dancing.

Rachel related the clip was taken less than five minutes after the IV inserted on her was removed.

"I hope you stay this happy forever," she told her firstborn.

Rachel and husband Migz Villafuerte are expecting their second baby, a boy.

It was late last year when the two exchanged “I dos” anew.

They had a civil ceremony a year prior.
