Palace renames complaint desk to Presidential Action Center
Malacañang has renamed the Presidential Complaint Center (PCC) to the Presidential Action Center (PACe).

It was renamed through Executive Order (EO) No. 15 which was signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Feb. 8 and released by the Palace on Friday, Feb. 10.
The PCC, which was previously called the Presidential Complaints and Action Office (PCAO) was established through Executive Order No. 442 in the Office of the President (OP) to serve as the command center and liaison unit of the OP with various agencies on all requests for assistance and complaints from the general public.
According to the order, PCAO was renamed as PACe through EO 447 in 1991, shortly after its establishment.
However, in 2016, EO No. 9 in 2016 further renamed the PACe to Presidential Complaint Center (PCC), and placed it under the direct control and supervision of the Strategic Action and Response (STAR) Office under the Office of the Cabinet Secretary (OCS).
In 2018, through EO No. 67, the control and supervision of the STAR Office was transferred from OCS to the Office of the Executive Secretary.
It was stated that "there is a need to rename PCC to ensure that its name is consistent with the nature and scope of its work."
"Whereas, in addition to coordination and liaison work, the nature and scope of the work of the PCC also includes providing public assistance and social services such as addressing complaints against government processes and various requests for assistance,” EO No. 15 read.
