Belle Mariano is definitely one of the “it girls” of the moment. We have seen her gracing the covers of magazines, starring in numerous commercials, and headlining shows and movies. One of the things fans love about her is her amazing personal style. She has been sharing online her chic everyday looks and has been serving major red-carpet moments. Just think of her during the Seoul International Drama Awards 2022. She is simply stunning.

With her love for fashion, it is just a matter of time before she produces her own fashion line. And it looks like the time has come. This month, the 20-year-old actress unveiled her collaboration collection with fashion e-commerce platform Shein. Presenting ready-to-wear pieces imbued with that summer-love feeling, the collection is a celebration of bold prints and bright colors suited for any moment under the sun. 

During the launch, Manila Bulletin Lifestyle got to chat with the “He's Into Her” star as she share some of the style tips she swears by. First, is to be playful when it comes to dressing. Layering can be tricky, especially in a tropical country like the Philippines. But for Belle, piling up pieces made of breathable materials can take an already good look to a more elevated level. 

“I’m the type of person who likes classic outfits. But I add a twist,” she says. “It’s about tweaking my outfit. I go for pieces that are very comfortable but very stylish.”

Much like everyone else, fashion is the best medium for self-expression for Belle. So her ultimate tip is to never dress to hide. Fashion offers a myriad of styles in a variety of prints, patterns, colors, and silhouettes. It has all the tools for you to formulate a visual language that mirrors your personality. 

“Don’t be afraid to explore and don’t hide yourself,” Belle notes. “Fashion is a statement. Don’t be afraid to show who you are. Don’t be afraid to dress and wear your wonderful.”
