A total of 83 parents with children who are malnourished and with disabilities have been given a chance to have emergency employment by the Muntinlupa City government.
The parents recently underwent orientation as the first batch of workers of the program Tulong Pangkabuhayan para sa Ating Displaced/Disadvantaged (TUPAD).

The selected parents have children who are malnourished or with disabilities and who are studying in different day care centers in Muntinlupa.
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO Muntinlupa) headed by Glenda Aniñon led the orientation program through funds provided by the Muntinlupa Gender And Development (GAD) Office.
The beneficiaries were chosen based on the recommendation of day care teachers at the Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) in Muntinlupa.
Under the TUPAD program, the parents will be given 15 days emergency employment and will earn P570 per day.
They will provide support to ECED teachers in the management of day care centers.
During the orientation, the parents also underwent Gender Sensitivity Training 101 under GAD head Reggie Salonga and Jenica Tubungbanua. Francis Santela, executive director of the Muntinlupa City Technical Institute, was also present.
TUPAD is a national program of the Department of Labor and Employment.
