P312,000 shabu seized from 'Salbakuta,' pal in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized shabu worth P312,000 in a buy-bust operation at dawn on Wednesday, Feb. 1, in Sitio Sampaloc Lakers, Barangay Pahinga Norte, here.

Suspects Romnick Pasahol, 32, alias ‘’Salbakuta,’’ and Joseph Montenegro, 35, residents of Sitio Sampaloc Lakers, yielded 15.3 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P312,120.

Meanwhile, in Lucena City, the leader and member of a drug syndicate were also arrested in a buy-bust operation.

The suspects, Lucena residents Warren Paderon, leader of the Paderon Drug Group, 38, and Mark Alan Peralta, 35, were nabbed after they sold suspected shabu valued at P83,640 to a poseur-buyer on Mercury St., Jael Subdivision, Barangay Ilayang Iyam on Tuesday evening, Jan. 31.

Police said Paderon is a high-value individual while Peralta is a street-value individual. Suspects face drug-related charges.
