LOOK: Lakas-CMD welcomes 68th member in House

The Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) has welcomed its 68th member in the House of Representatives.

This, after La Union 1st district Rep. Paolo Ortega took his oath with Lakas-CMD on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 1.

Administering Ortega's oath was House Speaker and Leyte 1st district Rep. Martin Romualdez, who is the party president.

Also in attendance were Senior Deputy Speaker and former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who is Pampanga's 2nd district representative and Lakas-CMD's president emeritus; and Majority Leader Zambonga City 2nd district Rep. Mannix Dalipe.

During the same event, La Union 1st district Board Member Aaron Kyle Pinzon was also sworn in as a Lakas-CMD member.
