3 delivery riders in pot session nabbed in Benguet

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police arrested three delivery riders while having a pot session in Sitio Bayabas, Barangay Pico, here on Sunday night, Jan. 29.

Col. Damian Olsim, Benguet police chief, said the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and La Trinidad Municipal Police Station received a report from a concerned citizen that a drug session was ongoing in the area.

Lawmen proceeded to the area and caught Geremay Quinzon Estalilla, 27; Lhurdson Mira Ranin, 35; and Macario Serma Orden Jr., 44, residents here and listed as street-level individuals.

Suspects yielded two sachets of suspected shabu weighing 0.17 grams worth P1,156 and drug paraphernalia and face drug-related charges.
