West zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. announced six cities in the NCR will experience little to no water pressure due to water auditing and other maintenance works.
In a Maynilad statement, it disclosed that Bacoor City, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, and Quezon City will undergo week-long water disruption starting Tuesday, Dec. 11.
Maynilad said that a water audit was scheduled in the southern parts of Metro Manila, to make sure that there will be no water losses within the primary and secondary lines.
Additionally, the water company will also conduct maintenance of sync panels and replacement of control units.
Various areas in Quezon City are set for leak detection works.
Maynilad ensured that the activities would be done during the late evenings to early mornings to prevent further inconvenience to the consumers and the public.
Below is the list of the affected areas and their schedule:
Dec. 11 to 12, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- QC – Bahay Toro and Tandang Sora
Dec. 12 to 13, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- QC – Sta. Teresita
Dec. 12 to 13, from 11 PM to 5 AM
- Bacoor City – Molino III, Molino IV, Molino VII, Pasong Buaya I, Pasong Buaya II, Queens Row Central, Queens Row East, Queens Row West and San Nicholas III
- Las Piñas – Almanza Uno, Almanza Dos, Pilar and Talon Uno to Talon Singko
- Muntinlupa – Alabang, Ayala Alabang, Cupang, Poblacion and Tunasan
- Parañaque – BF Homes
Dec. 13 to 14, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- QC – Bagbag, Sauyo and Talipapa
Dec. 14 to 15, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- QC – Sta. Monica, Gulod,
Dec. 16 to 17, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- QC – Bungad and Veterans
Dec. 17 to 18, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- QC – Gulod and Sta. Monica
Dec, 18 to 19, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- Muntinlupa – Sucat
- Parañaque – BF Homes, Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, Merville, Moonwalk, San Antonio, San Isidro, San Martin De Porres and Sun Valley
- Pasay – Brgys. Brgy. 181 to 185 and 201
Maynilad advised residents to begin storing their water supply to avoid the inconvenience.
Meanwhile, the concessionaire ensured that water tankers would be available to deliver more supply to areas within the service disruption.
