P680,680 shabu seized from 3 suspects in Taguig

The Southern Police District (SPD) conducted a buy-bust operation and arrested three people in Taguig on Dec. 9.

The operation was held on VP Cruz in Purok 5 in Barangay New Lower Bicutan that led to the arrest of suspects. The SPD only identified them by their aliases: Liza, 43, listed as street level individual, who previously served a sentence for drug-related offenses; Samson, 54, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) pusher; and Abdul, 41, listed also as an HVI.

During the operation, the police seized four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 100.1 grams valued at P680,680, one genuine P1,000 bill placed on top of four pieces P1,000 boodle money used as buy-bust money, and a cell phone.

Complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared against the arrested suspects.
