Big-time drug pusher falls in Cebu


CEBU CITY – A suspected big-time drug pusher was arrested by authorities in a buy-bust operation in Argao town, southern Cebu on Friday afternoon, December 8.

Jurrel Janglay, 33, was allegedly caught possessing 260 grams of suspected shabu worth P1.7 million when he was arrested in Bug-ot, a mountain barangay in Argao.

Police said Janglay was considered a high-value individual (HVI).

Janglay’s alleged cohort identified as Alan Alcayde escaped during the operation.

In a separate anti-illegal drug operation, authorities nabbed a suspected HVI in Liloan town, northern Cebu past midnight Saturday, December 9.

The suspect was identified as Donalp Palermo Tolo, a resident of Barangay Yati, Liloan.

Police said that packs of suspected shabu worth P40,000 were recovered from the suspect.
