Pangasinan State U graduate ranks 7th in September LET

BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan – A graduate of the Pangasinan State University here ranked seventh in the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Teachers.

Marinela Malicdem Ocampo, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science graduate, is a Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary and raised by a solo parent.

PSU-Bayambang led by president Dr. Elbert Galas, campus executive director Dr. Gudelia M. Samson, College of Teacher Education Dean Dr. Ma. Theresa E. Macaltao, and Science and Math Department chairman Dr. Irma Mirasol Ferrer congratulated Ocampo, a magna cum laude, for her achievement.

According to them, Ocampo's outstanding performance and her magna cum laude distinction, reflects her dedication to excellence amid life's challenges.

Ocampo’s feat followed that of another PSU-Bayambang graduate who also placed seventh in the LET last March. The school also had three other topnotchers in the exam.
