The Manila International Airport (MIAA) will open a lounge for overseas Filipino workers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 amid expected influx of travelers for the Christmas season.
The OFW lounge is located near the pre-departure area at the 4th floor of the NAIA Terminal 1 and will be open starting Dec. 15.
The lounge facilities include comfortable wide sofas, free wi-fi access, phone charging area, and power outlets to enable departing OFWs to recharge their electronic devices while waiting for their flights.
“Departing OFWs will be assisted by government agencies concerned,” the MIAA statement read.
“They can ask information at the information desks, where they can ask about the places they are bound to, access to helpful resources and answers to questions about their work sites,” it added.
