Lanao del Sur 1st district Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong has thanked Tingog Party-list for being among the first to send help for the victims of the deadly Mindanao State University (MSU) bombing in Marawi City.

"Ako po ay buong nagpapasalamat sa Tingog Party-list para sa kanilang napakabilis na pagresponde sa napakahalagang mga oras pagkatapos ng trahedyang ito,” Adiong, an assistant majority leader, said during a recent speech in plenary.

(I wholeheartedly thank Tingog Party-list for their very quick response during the very crucial first few oras following the tragedy.)

“We offer our deepest and most profound gratitude to all colleagues who shared enough condemnation and who have extended condolences," added the Mindanao solon.

Tingog Party-list's nominees in the House of Representatives are Reps. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Jude Acidre. Romualdez is the chairperson of the House Committee on Accounts, while Acidre is a deputy majority.

In the morning of Dec. 3, an explosion ripped through MSU, particularly in its gymnasium where a Catholic mass was taking place. At least four people died while over 70 others were injured.

Tingog–Cotabato offered medical assistance to the survivors of the blast, who were taken to the Amai Pakpak Medical Center in Marawi City and the MSU Infirmary.

Galvez, Jr., along with Maguindanao Del Norte Gov. Abdulraof Macacua and Lanao Del Sur Governor Mamintal Adiong Jr.
