The airline's Manila to Da Nang flights will be open thrice a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Departure time from Manila to Da Nang will be at 7:25 p.m. (Philippine time) to 9:30 p.m. (Vietnam time). Return flights from Da Nang to Manila will be from 10:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) to 2:25 a.m. (Philippine time).

Average travel time of the non-stop flight is three hours.

CEB noted that its launch of direct flights will enable reduced costs for travelers coming from Manila who previously had to pay for additional stops, connecting flights, and other expenses during layovers to reach Da Nang.

Da Nang has become a popular destination in Vietnam for tourists given its mix of modern urban living with culture and heritage landmarks.

Aside from resorts, architectural sites, and cuisines, it is also the gateway to United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites such as The Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary, and Hoi An ancient town.

“From bringing life and love to the island of Siargao, to transporting Filipino workers to Dubai, Cebu Pacific’s inaugural flights has helped boost tourism in different regions and made it possible for travelers to discover places that used to seem unreachable," emphasized Lao.

CEB already has flights from Manila to Vietnam's capital Hanoi, and economic center Ho Chi Minh City.
