Almost P2 million worth of marijuana seized in Bulacan

Police seized some P1,800,000 worth of marijuana from eight drug personalities in Barangay Gumaoc East, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) Bulacan on Thursday, Dec. 7.

A report submitted to Lt. Col. Jacquiline Puapo, Bulacan PPO officer-in-charge, stated that the police conducted a drug sting in Barangay Gumaoc at around 11:20 p.m.

During the operation, the lawmen confiscated approximately 15 kilograms of suspected dried marijuana from the suspects.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate action.

Criminal complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against the suspects.
