The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) confiscated P212,000 worth of alleged "shabu" in a series of intensive police operations launched in the province on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 6 and 7.
In reports submitted to Lt. Col. Jacquiline P. Puapo, Bulacan PPO officer-in-charge, a successful drug sting by the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) police that took place in Libis, Zone 2, Brgy. Muzon yielded 29 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams, with a standard drug price (SDP) of about P81,600 along with the marked money.
The operation led to the prompt arrest of five drug suspects.
A team of anti-illegal drug operatives led by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit/ Provincial Intelligence Unit (PDEU/PIU) together with the Bocaue and Malolos City police arrested a 29-year-old drug suspect from Batia, Bocaue, after a drug buy-bust operation in Sumapang Matanda, Malolos City, at around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec.7.
Authorities seized three sachets of alleged shabu valued at about P68,000 and the marked money from the suspect.
Moreover, around P48,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated during a series of drug buy-bust operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in Baliwag City, Pandi, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, and Malolos City. Eight drug suspects were arrested.
Two individuals were also arrested by anti-drug operatives of Plaridel police after a drug buy-bust. Confiscated were four sachets of suspected marijuana valued at about P15,240 and marked money.
All arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination.
Criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165 have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.
