67,061 senior citizens to receive 'Pamaskong Handog' gift packs in Valenzuela

The Valenzuela City government started the distribution of "Pamaskong Handog" gift packs to the senior citizens from different barangays in the city on Thursday, Dec. 7.

The city government said they are expecting 67,061 senior citizens, who were registered to the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) before Oct. 13, to claim their gift packs containing two kilograms of rice and various grocery items like canned goods and ingredients for spaghetti.

It added that the gift packs will be distributed to the beneficiaries in different areas in the city on Dec. 7, 8, 9, 14, and 15.

The beneficiaries must present their OSCA identification cards and claims stubs in getting the gift packs while representatives of senior citizens must bring an authorization letter.
