PH Red Cross deploys payloaders to landslide-affected areas in Nueva Vizcaya
Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Richard Gordon, on Wednesday, Dec. 6, ordered the immediate deployment of payloaders to help the provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya clear areas affected by landslides.

Through its Nueva Vizcaya Chapter, the organization helped the affected areas that have blocked roads and disrupted the transport of goods in the province.
“PRC understands how crucial it is to have the payloaders dispatched immediately to clear the CVR Bayombong-Masoc-Ambaguio Road where only one lane was left passable due to landslides caused by heavy rains the other day,” Gordon said.
He added that the PRC has amphibians, humvees, payloaders, trucks, ambulances, water tankers, ambulances, motorcycles, and a ship that are all prepositioned across the country to ensure immediate response in case of any event.
Meanwhile, PRC Secretary-General, Dr. Gwen Pang stressed that the immediate move to clear the roads will help vegetable growers move their produce from the province to Baguio and the National Capital Region (NCR).
She added that with the PRC's payloaders, the boulders will be removed, and the vegetable growers can finally move quickly to deliver their produced goods.
