OPM singer-songwriter Jimmy Bondoc passes 2023 Bar exams

He is best known for his monster hit song "Let Me Be The One." OPM singer-songwriter Jimmy Bondoc was one of the 3,812 examinees who sucessfully passed the 2023 Bar examinations, which the Supreme Court released on Dec 5.
Born James Patrick Romero Bondoc, 48, the singer took the three-day exam last September and luckily placed on the 685 ranks during the announcement.
Through his Facebook post, Jimmy took time to "praise God" and celebrate with his family.
"Nasa Aromata lang po kami the whole day, to praise God and to celebrate friendship. Everyone is welcome. 3 p.m. to midnight, drinks, prayers, laughter. Glory to God and God alone,” he wrote.

Actress Vivian Velez congratulated Jimmy on his current milestone.
Public Attorney's Office (PAO) chief, Atty. Persida Acosta, also greeted the singer through a Facebook post.
Jimmy took up law in 2017 at San Beda University. In 2019, he transferred to the University of The East where he continued to study law. According to his previous interview in 2017, taking up law had always been his dream.
"The choice to go into law is really parang a lifelong dream. Bukod dun, siguro para maging mas may silbi ako sa administration," he said.

Also, in 2017, Jimmy was appointed vice president for entertainment at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor).
