Malabon warehouse fire extinguished after more than 12 hours

The fire that hit a warehouse in Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City on Wednesday, Dec. 6, raged for almost 13 hours before it was finally extinguished on Thursday, Dec. 7.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire that broke out inside a warehouse on Platinum St. in Goldendale Subdivision, Barangay, Tinajeros, Malabon City, was raised to the first alarm at around 4:58 p.m.
It went up to the second alarm at around 5:07 p.m.

Firefighters were able to put the fire under control at around 8:54 p.m.
It was extinguished at around 5:18 a.m. the next day, Dec. 7.
Authorities have yet to determine the estimated amount of damage to property and the cause of the blaze.
No one was hurt during the incident.
The BFP said the incident is still under investigation.
