Over 5,000 jobs offered to Malabon residents in Mega Job Fair
A total of 5,421 job opportunities were offered to the Malabon City residents in the Mega Job Fair held at the Malabon Sports Complex on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
The event was conducted from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p m. where different positions/job opportunities from over 50 partner companies, including Alorica Teleservices, Inc., Zesto Corporation and SM, were offered to about 354 Malabueños. Some 224 residents were hired on-the-spot.
It was led by the City Public Employment Services Office (PESO).
Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, former City Representative Ricky Sandoval, city councilors and department heads were present during the event.

"Bahagi po ito ng ating layuning makapagbigay ng oportunidad sa ating mga kababayan upang tuluyang nating mapaunlad ang bawat pamilya sa lungsod (This is part of our goal to provide opportunities to our fellow residents so that we can finally improve the living condition of each family in the city)," the mayor said.
She also thanked the Department of Labor and Employment, PESO and their partner companies who participated in the event.
"Asahan niyo po na patuloy po ang ating pakikipagtulungan sa ibang mga kumpanya at ahensya para mas maraming trabaho ang ating maihatid sa mga taga-Malabon (Expect that we will continue to coordinate with other companies and agencies to provide more jobs to Malabon residents)," Sandoval said.
In August, the city government also conducted two Mega Job Fairs wherein over 10,000 job vacancies were opened to the city residents.
